The AHMA East Texas Scholarship Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) Not-For-Profit organization established to award education scholarships to deserving residents living in member affordable housing communities and to employees and employee family members.
Since 2003, AHMA East Texas has awarded over 240 recipients a total of over $550,000 to provide education and career opportunities to economically disadvantaged students.
Considering the many challenges facing potential scholarship applicants, it is the goal of AHMA East Texas to award scholarships based on the applicants’ demonstrated qualities of scholarship, motivation, character, and leadership.
