Credential for Green Property Management (CGPM) Course - Part II

This course is taught in two parts:
Part One was on November 18, 2010
The two courses meet the training requirements for the NAHMA CGPM credential
Efficiently use energy, water and other resources
Protect occupant health, employee productivity, and resident well-being
Reduce costs for operations and maintenance
Reduce waste, pollution and environmental degradation
Extend equipment durability
Increase cash flow, profitability and asset value
Part II of the Course Covers:
Both Parts I and II are required for the CGPM Credential
Instructor: Barry Weaver | Barry Weaver is a national speaker and trainer on green practices. He is a Certified Property Manager (CPM); a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP); a National Affordable Housing Management Professional – Executive (NAHP-e); a Specialist in Housing Credit Management (SHCM); and a Licensed Real Estate Broker. With over the 20 years of experience, Barry has a comprehensive background in organizational leadership and real estate finance, development, construction, operations, and oversight. He has managed a full-spectrum real estate for both non-profit and for-profit owners including Market Rate/Conventional, Office, Retail, HUD 202, Section 236, 221 (d) (3), Bond, Home, Hope VI, LIHTC, Rural Development, Congregate Care, and Assisted Living. Barry is a committed “green” professional. Barry became involved in environmental issues in the late 1970’s as an undergraduate at Humboldt State University (HSU) in Northern California. HSU is internationally known for its conservation and environmental programs. Barry is a LEED AP and holds the National Association of Realtors’ Green Designation. He is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council and NAR’s Green Resource Council. Barry is an approved trainer for the Credential for Green Property Management (CGPM).
